Fun filled rom-com

Excellent fun filled romantic comedy. Really enjoyed it. Hopefully Netflix gets few more of these kind in the market. East Indian community will relate to this movie even more .

Do not miss

A well made hilarious comedy with some touching emotional parts. Released today by Netflix and It made my day. Usually I cannot sit through a whole movie, but this one I did. Sure will be loved by the indian community settled outside India. Hope Netflix will release more like these.

RomCom to warm the heart

This film is just pure fun: Silliness, tropes to warm the soul, lots of stereotypes (who doesn't love them), great music with just a touch of serious - an uplift on a dull day!

B-grade cringe-fest

We were hopeful when we saw representation in the form of this new netflix rom-com but were so disappointed. The movie plays right into typical stereotypes of Indian "culture", the characters aren't likeable (apart from Ravi), the story was so unoriginal and the execution, left wanting. What a waste of time. I get that there are some elements in the movie that do actually happen but they were not explored in an appropriate way to the movie genre.

Even nuances in acting quality, avoiding over-dramatisation and not making characters so far gone OTT, would have made this movie so much better.

Not original and an utter waste of an evening

Not to mention the most annoying part in which a Hindu girl marries a muxlim man.

Will Netflix ever have the balls to show a muxlim girl marrying a Hindu man. I doubt.
