watchable

I think it will be score a 7-8 by female viewers.

Romantic movie .

No special messages or character study.

The office scenes lacked complexity for simpler gender warfare.

Great chemistry and faithful adaptation.

Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman "hate" each other. They work together and they are the exact opposite of the other. But they do have something in common: they are both very ambitious, so things take a turn when they are competing for the same job.

I think that as an adaptation is very accurate. Quite faithful to the book. At least the most important scenes are there.

Lucy is the real star of this movie. Nothing against Austin but she truly shines. They have amazing chemistry.

There is not much to say about this. There barely is a plot here. It's not perfect but it is enjoyable as any other romcom these days. There are two characters with sexual tension teasing each other and pushing each other's buttons and that's truly where the fun lies. Add great chemistry between the leads and you got yourself an enjoyable hour and a half.

Will be a go-to rewatch comfort film

Like a rated R super witty Hallmark movie with snappy dialogue and sizzling chemistry. It's nice to see a rated R romantic comedy that isn't a gross out film and is fun. As a small side note: the production design is fabulous, especially for an independent film.

One of the best book to movie adaptions ever!

I was a bit nervous about how this would play film but I am so happy with how it turned out! This is one of the best movie adaptions I've ever seen and wish I could rewatch this for the first time all over again! I could not press play fast enough! The actors that play Lucy and Josh are just the greatest and have the best chemistry! So glad that even with COVID that this was able to happen/ I hope that in the future we see more books turned into movies by the great Sally Throne! She truly wrote a master piece!

Cute movie

This is one of the best book to film adaptations I've seen recently. A few things got changed, but all of the important parts of the book were there. The actors were well cast, and the chemistry between Lucy as Josh was amazing. Very cute movie!
