Wasn't sure if this one was good or bad cos some of the reviews hid thefact they were crew blowing smoke up our a.rses, so I gave this a watchand it was soon dreadfully apparent it was a stitch up amateur garbagefilm trying to trick people into watching it.

Just because you CAN complete a feature length film with lights cameraand sound doesn't mean you SHOULD do it. You have to have something tosay and this movie had nothing to say. Just some kids who's parentsbought them a couple of canon 5Ds, editing software and a drone forChristmas.

The key is to have a good idea and the idea for this movie is tenuouslyslight, and that slight idea is stretch so thin it collapses. It didn'thave to. with good writing, direction and acting it could have beensomething, maybe, maybe those things could have made a tense story outof this but we end up with an annoying insulting waste of time. Moremedia clutter to get in the way of anything really insightful orentertaining.

I am extremely amazed by the apparent positive reviews this film hasreceived on IMDb. I am also amazed that it (at the time of writing) has6.4 stars!

This film is nowhere worthy of either and I highly suspect there issome shenanigans involved somewhere.

Anyway, based on the description of the film, and the reviews on here Ithought it could be worth watching. Something out of the ordinary andpossibly interesting.

Unfortunately this was not to be. The acting is OK - nothing specialand certainly no outstanding performances. The story is unnecessarilyprotracted and filled with useless and tedious dialogue - obviously togive enough material to make the time in the editing room.

The story is very predictable and hardy shifts in either location orinterest.

This film may have had some merit if it were a LOT shorter - certainlyno longer than 30 minutes.

As it is - I would give it a miss if I were you.

American tourists have decided to visit Georgia (the country, not thestate) which was a war zone several years ago (and it really was). While walking in the forest one of them stumbles upon a strange devicewhich turns out a landmine and that's when a real action starts. Soonone of the main characters leaves friends alone and the question why heleft his buddy stepped on the landmine will follow you till the end ofthe film.

Meanwhile, Christ is replaced by a new character Ilya - a local guywondering in the forest who encounters the couple trying to figure outwhat to do trapped alone in the wilderness. Ilya suggests help toadventurers but the «help» takes an admirably long time... and createsan genuinely disturbing story in wilds of Georgia.

Daniel's role was a bit unclear for me at the beginning - why he doeswhatever he does in the forest of unknown country when traveling. Butlater I thought maybe that's exact place where you want to do thisbecause you really will not be eager to go to the same place again. Andthe end is definitely unpredictable. It wraps everything up you werewaiting for a long time. Couple's performance is remarkable. Even thoChris seems to be the main character Alicia has a much tougher role toplay and she copes very well. Landmine Goes Click is probably one ofthe most disturbing movies you'll watch this year.

Landmine Goes Click is a Horror/Thriller film from Sarke Studio a film/ production company located in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. I saw thefilm at the Mile High Festival last month. I have to say its a goodfilm, but its one that makes you think. Its not so obvious when you sitdown and watch it for the first time. Its one of them movies that kindof hits you the morning after you sit back and think about the plot, the story line and the ramifications about it. Three tourists are backpacking around the Republic of Georgia, whilst taking photos, one stepson a Landmine. Stuck on the landmine he must watch helplessly as thegirl he loves is brutally attacked whilst doing everything she can toget him help.

Don't be fooled by the good reviews which have obviously been writtenby people involved with the making of this or have a vested interest init making some money because this is quite simply the worst film I haveendured in some time. From the opening aerial shots of modelcountryside and houses through to the end, the whole film is imbuedwith amateurish writing and rank bad acting. It is predictable in itsentirety. I watched the whole film with a vague sense of disinterest asI could not connect on any emotional level with the characters. thelead bad dude was laughable and just plain annoying followed closelybehind by the rest of the cast. The only actor that may possibly have acareer on this display is Spencer Locke, the American girl who at leastdisplayed a bit of emotional depth. Truly a low budget mess of a movie
