I really liked this Russkie sci-fi flick!

Hard to believe this is amateur writer/director Nikita Argunov's 2nd writing and 1st directing credit! For an international film, its production was top notch with stunning visuals. You can pretty much pause any frame and print off an amazing sci-fi poster. The acting was great, the score very fitting, and the length and pacing just right. It certainly isn't worth the low rating and the negative reviews comparing it to Inception. Sure, maybe the same concept, but a different story, and that's not a bad thing. It's like giving every cop movie after the first one ever made a 1/10 because it's been done already. Those people are the wannabe critics. Nevertheless, if your a sci-fi fan, this is a great film, and the subtitles aren't difficult to follow. A well deserved 8/10 from me.

Interesting

Story plot, although it feels like a mash up of inception and matrix. Probably a bit too long or slow at times but nice effects and plot twists.

The Stalker is back!

Sure, the film can be compared to "Inception", and in this respect it has little to offer that is new. However, when you remember Russian SF classics of the sixties and seventies, you can see that there are links to the Strugazki brothers and especially to Tarkovsky's masterpiece "Stalker". This reveals a powerful, original, almost forgotten Russian SF tradition.

Mind blowing

Good effects, interesting storyline and philosophic approach make this movie a must watch.

Mind-blowing for a Russian csi-fi movie

I wasn't expecting much after all the failed Russian attempts to produce a good sci-fi movie. I was properly surprised in a good way. Yes, it has a lot of allusions to memorable Hollywood productions like Inception, The Matrix, Memento, Divergent, also at some points Tarkovsky's Stalker. But at the same time it's fresh and new in a way, and seeing what The Matrix evolved into, this one still has a good potential for a better continuation and the evolution of the philosophical idea behind it.
